Chinese Girls Sells Body For Iphone

Posted by wtdevflnt on October 22, 2011

reposting this for wordpress cut off a part when I emailed it….

Ahh the immorality of it all. A while back a Chinese guy offered up his spare kidney for an Ipad, he has two after all, and before that a Chinese woman wanted to trade her cherry for the same thing. And now I have just read that a college student has offered herself up for months of sex all for a new Iphone (here). It turns out that college student was caught by her boyfriend, as she offered up her ‘junk’ to some guy over china’s ‘weibo’- a microblog knockoff. After reading the article, I then considered it- read as ‘snapped one off’ and then ran out to purchase an Ipone 4S. And then analyzed this in terms of China today.

The girl in question does not want any old Iphone, but the new Iphone 4s which retails for 199-399 back home (with plan). But the 16 gig version will go for U$1,100 here. I cannot fathom the moral depravity of a society and a woman who will sell her lithe young body to any man who need only be equipped with a cell phone, of all things.

But I fear that the moral decay that has seeped into the bones of China has once again reared its ugly head. The Chinese society today has looked for monetary rewards to fight emotional woes and the results are sad.

I could go on and on about the consequences of this type of thing but fear it is of little use. Absent a change in mindset, the locals are doomed to a life of quick pleasure and inner chasm of despair.

That is all I have to say for now as I need to go sign up for a Weibo account.

Marx Says Chinese a People of “Incomparable Dishonesty”

Posted by wtdevflnt on October 16, 2011

The Chinese like to hide their history, recent history that is. Sure they want to talk about some fat little no nut eunuchs and their leaders who after visiting the ‘man hut’ allowed them to roam the land with impunity. But the recent history to the Chinese is verboten. I guess it makes sense for who wants to discuss how they ate the flesh of each others children to survive in the late 50s or how they beat and killed one another over Mao love.
Some people whom I would call ‘idiots’. say that the problem with the Chinese and their lack of morals is a recent thing. (Actually I would not call them idiots but ill informed.)
But if and when one reads a book, they find that no, the China man of today is no different than the gazillions who precededcorruption in China them. Below we have a quote from Marx who captures what many say of the Chinese of today.

As Marx bit the dust way before the communist revolution in China in ’49, it is doubtful that he witnessed their behaviour then. In addition, he did not experience the madness of the early 20th century so that too was not the problem. Hmmm he calls them incomparably dishonest. And this he said some 160 years ago. My My how the country of China has not changed.

from
The Writing on the Wall (Will Hutton)

The German sociologist Max Weber criticized the Chinese for “incomparable dishonesty,” “absolute docility,” and “distrust for one another,” which, together with their lack of the Protestant incentive of a virtuous afterlife earned by saving and hard work, condemned China to economic backwardness.2

No Moral Compass, a Problem With China Today

Posted by wtdevflnt on October 15, 2011

China has many challenges, both environmental and political. Another issue they have is the gaping hole in the place where morality should be. The Chinese have transplanted money worship for anything resembling a higher power and its impact is quite obvious.
One of the ways in which this manifests itself is that the Chinese will unceasingly compare themselves to one another. They always want to see who has a more expensive Iphone or house or car. Now before you say that Joe Bob Dingeir from Muscatine does the same thing, I ‘d remind you to remain mute for yes that may be true but everything is relative. And relatively speaking, the Chinese are the most catty/disengenuous people vz their attempting to better one another in all things possible.
To me its not as big of an issue as I am a foreigner so the chinese cannot and do not attempt to compare.

China Has No Homosexuals

Posted by wtdevflnt on October 15, 2011

I have guests over and they bemoaned the plight of the US. Too much freedom, unsafe, occupy Wall Street and we carry guns. I was then told that China does not have homosexuals.

I was like……wtf?

The lady, in her 50s assured me that China does not have gays.

I have my doubts. I think that if people are born gay, as I believe they are, then the percentage of people here who are homosexual should be the same as anywhere else. The lady told me I am wrong.

Chinese, Ignorance and Walls

Posted by wtdevflnt on September 26, 2011

This clip is quite old- 130 years old, but shows how secluded the Chinese have been for millenia. The problem is that aside from a brief period of enlightenment they have remained secluded and ignorant of the world around them.

The Awakening of China (W. A. P. (William Alexander Parsons) Martin)-1873
excerpt:
“The foreign settlement now stands on Shamien, a pretty islet in the river, in splendid contrast with the squalor of the native streets. The city wall is not conspicuous, if indeed it is visible beyond the houses of a crowded suburb. Yet one may be sure that it is there; for every large town must have a wall for protection, and the whole empire counts no fewer than 1,553 walled cities. What an index to the insecurity resulting from an ill-regulated police! The Chinese are surprised to hear that in all the United States there is nothing which they would call a city, because the American cities are destitute of walls.”

Safety With Chinese Characteristics? Funny Photo

Posted by wtdevflnt on September 14, 2011

This photo comes from www.weldreality.com The author of the site is a specialist in welding and critiqued Chinese welding practices, especially regarding the building of the Birds Nest among other things. The site is an excellent reference but also shows how far China must come. Or maybe they don’t need to, after all, we Americans would rather give them our cash instead of our own- we are like China- its all about the cash…

Thievery and Doing Business in China

Posted by wtdevflnt on September 12, 2011

I’ve done business in a few countries and thought I’d seen it all- and then I came to China. It’s not as as these people are immoral for according to m-w.com immoral is “ conflicting with generally or traditionally held moral principles” and in China there are no traditionally held moral principles, so lucky for them, they are just normal people from China.
As an example my friend said that he’d started a business in China a few years ago. He had to pay a supplier and had a check to do so. One of his employees volunteered to take the check to the supplier so my friend said ok and handed him the check. A few weeks later my friend saw the supplier and thought all was ok but the supplier was extremely upset. Finally my friend asked what was wrong and he was told that his employee, the guy who had volunteered to take the check to the supplier had not done as asked. My friend’s employee took the check to the supplier and did not give it to him but said that if the supplier wanted it- money he was rightfully owed, the supplier had to pay a bribe to my friends employee….wtf?
Yeah the Chinese guy was trying to extort cash from a one of my friends suppliers.
Even more sad is that when my friend found out he fired his employee and the employee was blow away. He could not figure out what he’d done wrong……This is China….

As for the bad, the air, the water, the polluted food, the form of governan….but I digress. Anyway , my friend knows a chinese guy who graduated from school and this Chinese guy’s  full time job is to get fake ID’s and take Englsh exams for Chinese who want to study overseas….wtf?

Yeah no kidding. This guy has a contact who makes fake identification for this college grad and his full time job is to take English tests so little one-child disappointments can go to the land of milk and honey….
