More Dumb-Asses in the News in China

So there are these Chinese and they need to leave China, so what do they do? They escape, successfully, and go to toher countries, presumably to start over. And then what do they do? The idiots come back for the spring festival and get caught.

“Fugitives nabbed at border

So far this year, Beijing frontier inspection station has caught 18 people who had fled overseas but returned to China for Spring Festival, says Beijing Evening News. A man, surnamed Yang, who escaped to Japan after beating someone five years ago, was caught on Feb 5.

The frontier inspection department says it has been screening passengers more carefully during this busy travel time.

China Largest Exporter

Toxic world here we come…

“The World Trade Organization (WTO) has confirmed that China has edged out Germany to be the world’s biggest exporter in 2009, accounting for 10 percent of the global export, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) of China announced in its website on Monday.

The MOF website also cited WTO figures that China ranked the second place last year in the world’s import by taking up eight percent, only five percent lower than the United States.

Chicoms to the Youth- You are Fat, You Need Glasses and You Suck!

Some communist party group was  called on to monitor  the physiques of younger Chinese. To no one’s surprise, they seem week, inflexible, lack strength and endurance. After watching the last Olympics, is this  a shocker? Just kidding? hmm.

But yeah, I guess the one child policy does not lend itself to scrapping with brothers and sisters and basically has these kids vegetating in front of energy consuming devices while they try to avoid english lessons, school and pressure from their folks.

“The physical condition of the young generation in China is on the decline for 10 years straight, including speed and strength quality, according to the National Physique Monitoring report cited by Beijing Youth Daily.

The report also shows that flexibility, explosive strength, endurance, muscle power and vital capacity are all heading downward.

“On the one hand, the youths’ physical condition is getting worse; on the other hand, there are higher rates of obesity and nearsightedness, one in four urban female students being labeled as fat,” said Dong Xiaoyu, deputy director of the Beijing Olympics City Development Association.

More Toxic Chinese Food

Four more people died from toxic food in China. Who knows, maybe it is some bizarre communist party plot to phase out the one child policy and phase  in operation ‘Toxic take out’…

“XIAMEN – Four people died of food poisoning in east China’s Fujian Province on Friday, local authorities said.

The people died after eating stewed pig’s trotters with herbs taken from Heping County’s Jiufeng Mountain where they worked as tree planters, said a spokesman with the county publicity department.

Police are investigating the case, he said”

Really Disturing- Baby Bodies Found in Water

This is very disturbing, the chinadaily posted photos of them fishing out the babies bodies here, I don’t think it is worth seeing, but makes this story much more dramatic. If you are religious, I think now would be a good time to pray for them.

“21 infant bodies have been discovered under a bridge in the suburb area of Jining city of east China’s Shandong province on Tuesday.

Eight of dead babies had labels attached to their feet with information saying they had been treated and declared dead in two local hospitals. No clues were found on the remaining bodies.

A police investigation is underway and the local environment authority has dispelled public worries over the river water as people fear it become polluted by the dead bodies.

Fake Green Peas in China-They are Even Cheating Mother Nature

I have heard of them faking food, meats, eggs and such, the rumor mill is full of that type of information. But this is bizarre, faking peas…What else will the Chinese do for cash. Oh yeah, in China, its not a food safety incident till someone dies, wtf???

“BEIJING – Unsafe artificial green peas were found in Hunan province earlier this month, making the list of toxic food products in the country even longer, according to the local food safety watchdog. The problematic green peas appeared in the provincial capital of Changsha and Hengyang city, a local newspaper reported over the weekend.

“The peas were an unnatural color and had a penetrating odor. After 20 minutes of cooking, the peas did not turn soft but the water turned green,” the report said.

The peas were first seen on March 17 during a regular pesticide residue check in a Changsha farmers’ market. From March 17 to 19, local food safety officials conducted field research and sourced the peas back to Hengyang.Last Wednesday, officials from the Hengyang law enforcement team on agriculture smashed up two small illegal workshops where the peas were made.

A video provided by a local TV station showed the manufacturing process of the peas.

Bags of dried snow peas and soybeans were thrown into water-filled jars. With the help of light green colorant and sodium metabisulfite, a food additive used as a bleach and preservative, the previously wizened dry peas came out plump and fresh green.

However, the use of the light green colorant is forbidden in farm products, since it could cause cancer, the report said. Similarly, excessive intake of the sodium metabisulfite can hinder the human body’s absorption of calcium.

The processing of the peas is highly profitable, said Peng Xingguo, owner of one such illegal workshops. Peng’s workshop had been running for three years before it was exposed.

“Such toxic artificial green peas have been found in Hunan and Guangdong before, but it looks like the news didn’t catch enough attention from the officials,” Sang said on Monday.

In China, officials call it a “food safety incident” only after a death is reported.

China Really Opening up- Women’s Mud Wrestling

This is suppposed to be the world mud wrestling championship, but in reality the event  is probably about as inclusive as the world wrestling association. Anwyay, I guess they gathered some women at the beach and had them wrestle, but that doesnt look like real mud, mabye it was dove soap.

Dumb-Ass Jailed- Famous Tatoo Now Doing Time

This guy is truly an idiot. I guess in the heat of the moment of the Olympics this dumb-ass got some Olympic style tattoos on his face, probably was a hero at the time. ?But then the genius robbed his friend, and now instead of looking like a hero, looks like another down and out  ex- New York Nick.
