Beijing Traffic Jam?- Business As Usual

Beijing has been the capital of China for hundreds of years and of course in the past, no one had cars, so roads could be small. The problem is that now many Chinese in the city have cars and this is the result…traffic slowed to a crawl. Just the other day I went about 2 miles in a taxi and it took me one hour! I could have/should have just crawled to my destination instead.
