Photos of Bejing Smog at Varying Levels
Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 19, 2010
Here are three shots of the same area. You can see how the pollution affects the air in Beijing in each photo. The photos are like the 3 bears, one has no smog, one has a little and one is like sticking your mouth on the exhaust pipe of a truck made in the ’50s |

China’s 4th of July…..
Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 19, 2010
China is approaching her 61st birthday, or the People’s Republic of China is, and as such the streets and subways are packed with people. This will be my third time to see the festivities and quite honestly it is pretty cool. The people in general, seem to be happier less fatigued and we get a few more days of vacation. Last year was huge, they showed off their military weaponry etc. I have no Idea what they will do this year. Oh yeah, the PRC was founded on the first of October, 1949. |

Adadas in China-
Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 19, 2010
To me these are kind of funny as usually when I see fake products in Beijing they don’t bother to misspell the names, they spell them correctly but just fake them. For instance, Rolex, Polo etc.. They do not bother to hide the fact that its fake. |
