75 years ago the board game Monopoly was invented. This has nothing to do with anything, but is interesting.

Sex and China

Chinese women have it tough in the love making department. If they enjoy it too much their hubbies will consider them too wild and wonder if they like it so much that the women go find other men to satisfy them as well. So, the women have to enjoy it just enough to appease the man… or so I am told.

Here is a poster from chinahush. It depicts how the Chinese viewed us during the korean conflict. Oh, btw, the guy with the knife is General Macarthur.

Dumb Freshman and Obama on the Subway

Posted by w_thames_the_d on November 5, 2010

Remember when you first entered college, wide-eyed and impressed with all the smart people, the books the profs. And then you began to have fun, still learned, but had a lot of fun, your focus changed. and then each year you would stroll around campus and see those wide-eyed freshmen, obviously new and full of passion for the whole experience.

I saw that guy today on the subway. He was probably American, maybe 30ish, looked like Obama but chubbier. He seemed like a good guy but he reeked of his newness to china. The reasons, aside from the Lonely planet guide to China under his right arm, and the map in his left hand, was the look in his eyes and his attitude. When he was pushed back by the swaying of the subway, he actually apologized to those behind him. The kicker, however was when he was getting off the subway. He actually waited for the doors to open and then paused a beat, said, “please excuse me”… and waited for the locals to part giving him passage… I almost crapped. He’s got to be knew to expect reciprocity in terms of civilized manners here. Just yesterday I saw a tough old German lady literally get knocked over trying to leave the subway and she seemed to understand this place. I can only hope that this little obama-like man can maintain his positive disposition and demeanor as time goes on….

This was the place I used to get my hair cut. It was supposed to be a ‘high energy’ and edgy type of place.
