Safely Home

Posted by w_thames_the_d on November 12, 2010

I got this book for free for my awesome Kindle. The book is called Safely Home by a guy named Randy Alcorn, does anyone know anything about him? The book seems good. It about re.li.gious.. prscution in the prc… its got great facts and details, but some of it seems fantastic, so I am wondering if anyone has read the book and how do you see his claim. Also, I thought I read that the guy started his own church. Does anyone have info about this or what his affiliation is?

More Window Washing

Posted by w_thames_the_d on November 12, 2010

Look at this window washer, zoom in on that old crappy harness and rope. What stellar Chinese governing body certified that thing as capable of supporting that man’s weight?

Thanks Daddy China- Heating in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on November 12, 2010

For the past few days I have been freezing my butt off at night, but now thanks to ‘daddy china’ and those benevolent chicoms, all of that will change. Confused, well you should be, you are probably from a country which is somewhat democratic in nature and what I have just said does not resonate, but I live in China. In China, the chicoms decide when to turn on the heating for all 1,300,000,000 people, but actually in the southern part of China many people have no heating. In Beijing, however, we all do. The thing is that the central government, or those benevolent chinese communists, must decide when to turn on our heat and do it for us, we can do nothing but wait for them to do so. I am so happy for that benevolent chicoms, the world would be utter chaos if each family could decide when they turn on their own heat, imagine the anarchy it would create…
thanks for your guidance mr. chicom…your humble servant…

Thanks Yasmyn

Posted by w_thames_the_d on November 12, 2010

This is to Yasmyn who has posted a few comments but for some reason I get an email which says I must moderate them. I do not know why this happens with your comments, maybe the chicoms dont like your ip or something but thank you for commenting.

Her comment was that the cocktail post meant it was like an all you can drink thing.. the place was weird, not a KTV, but more like a club.
Sorry I cant approve your comments, but thanks.
