This is damning, but what will Obama and crew do, or what did they not do to avert this event? According to wikileaks, the government knew that the chicoms were behind the hack attacks on Google, but yet the US government did nothjing, will BO’s inverted testes ever descend?

US cable: China leaders ordered hacking on Google
(AP) – 1 hour ago

BEIJING (AP) — A leaked U.S. government cable shows sources told American diplomats that hacking attacks against Google were ordered by China’s top ruling body.

The cable said that according to a source, the Chinese government coordinated the attacks on Google late last year. The cable says the intrusions were directed by the Politburo Standing Committee. The cable was released by WikiLeaks to The New York Times and The Guardian newspapers.

A separate cable released by WikiLeaks showed a Politburo member demanded action against Google after looking for his own name on the search engine and finding criticism of him. The cable did not identify the leader. The New York Times reported it was propaganda chief Li Changchun, the fifth-ranked official in the country.

    “According to a source … ”

Yeah sure… It was probably something like: “While I was on the metro I overheard this one guy say something like ‘The government was behind all of it.'”

We all know the reliability of US intelligence… ^_~

haha, yeah but think about it, can you imagine what would happen to the ‘source’ if his name were revealed? Also, you cant think there is any doubt about it do you?

They may or may not have… What bothers me though is that most western media present mention of the unproven claims of an unknown source as “The Truth”. Even the totally bogus “weapons of mass destruction” had heaps more “evidence”.

Good poit, but I think the west hopes that the commoner is smart enough to figure out for themselves what the truth is. I mean in the past, as in the 30-40-50’s the people believed the press, but the late 60’s and then Bush changed it.
The wmd was a con job and probably half of the people at that time had an inkling of that. The benefit is that today ppl from the USA really dont trust the media so in that respect, Bush was good. Also the point you bring up fortifies the notion that once the wmd claim was disproved, the commoner got a little wiser. But, in regards to this idea of China and Google, the commoner is smart enough to figure out what China is capable of- imho.

Yeah, if there is one corrupt bunch it’s the FIFA, and they don’t even need to hide it, since in Switzerland non-profits can’t be prosecuted! (At least I overheard someone say that ^_~)

Why target RBC and other world banks for supporting wikileaks in the past…they are acting under a lot of pressure from the americans to deal with a problem that is theirs,,,,target instead the american’s largest bank…notice they are not involved…mmmmmmmmmmm
