Pollution makes quarter of China water unusable {“Almost a quarter of China’s surface water remains so polluted that it is unfit even for industrial use, while less than half of total supplies are drinkable, data from the environment watchdog showed. Inspectors from China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection tested water samples from the country’s major rivers and lakes in the first half of the year and declared just 49.3 percent to be safe for drinking, up from 48 percent last year, the ministry said in a notice posted on its website (http://english.mep.gov.cn/).”} 07.26.10 http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=pollution-china-water

not sure if you read chinasmack but there was an article about chinese reactions to the indian’s use of the ganges river for burning corpses and bathing while rotting cows float past, etc.

but of course, they’ll never be seeing that photo.

thanks i will check it out!

i am definitely not in China, though many of their finest party members are all around us here, ramping up the prices of real estate in certain areas that have good feng shui and 8s in the addresses. should be fun when the bubble pops.

sorry.. the sentence “you have the chicoms ar their one child burdens?” doesn’t make much sense? can you clarify?

      • wtdevflnt said

Sorry, what I meant to ask you is if you have the ‘naked politicians’- those chicoms who have escaped to Canada and/or their one-child burdens whom they send off to establish residency so that they have a place to run when the place implodes or they are found out? Ie. do you have the old communist generals or their progeny?
