China To Give Foreigners Social Security- Old Age Filled with Cat Food and Misery

Posted by w_thames_the_d on May 30, 2011

China news agency chinadaily said that

Chinadaily  news agencies reported that “BEIJING – China plans to include all foreign workers in its social security system starting from July, a senior social security official said on Monday.

Oh geez thanks China. you mean i can now enjoy the same shitty Chinese healthcare (oxymoron) and toxic fake medicine as the locals do? In addition, I can count on receiving that same 10U$ monthly retirement check, yippeee.
While I appreciate the effort, to me there is something about entrusting my life to a doctor who was taught medicine in China. Maybe I am overreacting, but when I to go a place with a bad case of pink eye and am told I have ‘fire in my body’ or I am racked in pain from strep and am told to eat some worm husks, i tend to question their ability. So I would have to say that the offer is kinda nice and touchy feely and we can all say ‘hey uncle chicom is not such a bad guy after all’ but I’d prefer to be in charge of my own health, thank you….As for retirement, if I have to rely on the benevolence of uncle chicom than I am more fked than I can imagine.

China Bans Smoking, Sort of…- Laws in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on May 30, 2011

China news sources say that Guangzhou is going to crack down on illegal smoking. China outlawed smoking in public places, and I guess they set that law on the self next to the one about no bribery nor fraud, nor plagiarism, nor hookers,,, oh but I digress.
Anyway, in true Chinese form the law was enacted, a bunch of fat buck-toothed sons of guys who traipsed around China running from and then eventually fighting the KMT (long march) happily declared their job complete and soon thereafter they waddled out to meet their second wives or mistresses (er ni) as they are called, and proceeded to quaff Maotai, smoke cancer sticks and forget all about that law. The Chinese police, ever vigilant, also seem to either have forgotten about or misunderstood the law for as of today no one in Guangzhou has been convicted under it…
You may be thinking, so what? Maybe the Chinese are obeying the law. In which case I would look at you with disgust/pity and marvel at your naiveté. For anyone who has spent time in the land of despair and drought, China, can tell you that in true Chinese fashion they smoke everywhere. Unwilling/able to put of gratification, they spark up in toilets, stores and even elevators. So, to have an anti- smoking law in China is as useless as telling the fine young men on Wall Street to be honest…Oh yeah, it does not hurt that all tobacco companies in China are state owned, so the communists profit from the sales and also lung cancer deaths, call it a double whammy of good fortune. For from the sales, they obviously can skim off more profits for themselves- allegedly, and if a few million more die of cancer, who cares, it just means less red Maos to be spent on health care and social security.
Ok rant over… bottom line. China has a law, as soon as you have read these words and you are not laughing then you do not understand this place so go read Peanuts comics or something…

Chinese Communists Announce the Beijing to Shanghai Train is Safe- Time to Worry

Posted by w_thames_the_d on May 30, 2011

Chinese newsources report that uncle chicom has said that the Beijing to Shanghai train is safe….hmmm why would they have to announce this? Does it not make one suspicious when they feel the need to tell you something that you would assume to be true? For instance, does Apple announce that it’s Ipads are safe to use? Me thinks there is something rotten in Denmark…..

China’s Drought, Did China Reinvent the Disastrous Great Leap Forward?

Posted by w_thames_the_d on May 30, 2011

In Chinese history there are bright spots and some crap. The great leap forward was one of the less glorious in her history. In essence it was an attempt to modernize China and the result of this ill-planned and ill-conceived movement was that tens of millions died of starvation as farmland was laid to waste, crops were hoarded so the government would think that the plan was working, and ended in misery and strife. The great leap forward ended in 1961. The current drought China is suffering is the worst people have seen in many areas since 1961, so its a little spooky. While we as a world are experiencing global warming, some say the Chinese have ameliorated this through mismanagement of resources, building the three gorges dam, and wanton destruction of land vz unsupervised production leading to contaminated water and dead land. Read the report below from the China daily and dont you feel that China’s ecological problems are at a crucial state…It is a fact that China’s two largest fresh water lakes are drying up and some areas have seen 40-60 % less rainfall.

From the Frying Pan to the Fire- Asian Football Replaces bin Hamman with a Chinese?

Posted by w_thames_the_d on May 30, 2011

I guess I can see the point here. Someone needs to take the place of Mohamed bin Hammam, who was suspended from all soccer activity by FIFA due to bribery allegations. So the logical thing is to replace him with a man from a country like China where the sate of soccer is in disarray due to corruption , match fixing and bribery. Hmmm excellent work !!

Bing Sucks Google Rocks-Comparison of Bing and Google Searches in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on May 30, 2011

But at least Google has balls and will send us good links, Bing.com sucks ass. This is amazing, I am doing this live time so you can see how badly bing is bending over to the powers that be here.
Check out the following

corrupt chinaman 594,,000Google Bing 34,000

Toys Legal for Sale in China Harmful by International Standards

Posted by w_thames_the_d on May 30, 2011

China news sources say that surprisingly enough toys sold in China are of so low a quality level that they are considered ‘harmful’ by international standards. Hmmm although not a shocker, the real question is why US buyers dash over here to buy from these people. In a county where moral fortitude has long since expired, the notion of poising a few kids is no big deal, after all, they have over a billion spares. But in places where human lives are valued, this kind of thing really sucks.
