Brazilian Workers 30% More Productive than Chinese

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 11, 2011

Brazil is a great country, I lived there twice, but they do have a more relaxed culture. But I’s have to say that in general, they are hard workers, but just like to relax. For instance while I was there I saw them badgered for their attitudes but in reality were pretty good. The Chinese, in an effort to foul up the world are now in Brazil and the Brazilians are pissed. Chinese arrogance and inflexibility are causing them problems as the Chinese do not respect Brazilian culture, nor any culture for theat matter. But interestingly enough, although all Chinese claim to work so hard and see the rest of us barbarians  as lazy, a report from  The Conference Board states that Brazilian workers were 30 percent more productive in 2010 than Chinese workers. This should come as a surprise to know one ass your typical chinaman spends more time on qq or bitching about house prices then putting his nose to the grindstone.

What’s Next for China, Toxic Breast Milk?

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 11, 2011

Chinese news sources said that as Chinese don’t trust toxic chinese milk which has proven to be deadly, so they have gone to other sources. One of the biggest things nowadays is for Chinese mothers to sell the milk straight from their teats! Yeah they go online and sell you their breast milk . The funny thing is that in China they define morals differently so dont be surprised if they ‘woman’s breast milk’ you just bought online is nothing more than the same old powdered milk you were trying to avoid in the first place.  From here and reposted here

Anywhere But CChina-Chinese Escaping the Mainland

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 11, 2011

The Chinese have been allowed to visit Taiwan, but only in tour groups. That being said, the Chinese still find a way to escape their miserable lives here and end up never coming back but staying in Taiwan, much to the displeasure of many Taiwanese. As of today, it is reported that for each 100,000 Chinese who visit Taiwan, 3% do not leave, but stay there.

Now Taiwan has announced that people from China can go there as individuals and not only in groups. Can you imagine how many of them will never come back?

Blast Rocks Chinese Police Station

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 11, 2011

A police station in China was rocked with an explosion two days ago. The story is that illegal fireworks caused the blast. To me it seems like  a lot of devastation for fireworks. Lately there have been several instances of violence against the police here which is scary.

From the Chinadaily

Police station explosion

Confiscated explosives accidentally go off at a police station in Hunan province’s Huangshi township, causing a massive blast that killed one officer, injured two others and damaged surrounding government buildings on Thursday afternoon. [Photo/China Daily]

All You Need to Know About Living and Working in China- Reblog Serenityinchina

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 11, 2011

If you are considering spending time in China, then read this post, and excerpt follows. The author is J from serenityinchina and he has some good advice. All of the things he has said, seem like good advice to me as well,

excerpt

What’s it like for native English teachers/expats to live in Changsha, Hunan, China?

I should preface this post by saying that Julianne and I have not had what I think is the ‘typical’ living and teaching experience in Changsha, or China for that matter.  First off our apartment sits inside a compound with a guarded gate. …

All that being said, here’s what I think about living and teaching in Changsha.

Buses

Traveling in Changsha is pretty cheap and easy.  Taking a city bus costs 1-2 yuan.  If you get on a bus with a * next to its name you pay 2 yuan; this is because these buses are ‘nicer’ than the non-* buses (meaning they have air conditioning, for example).  If it’s your first time in China you should prepare yourself for a wild ride as bus drivers here drive as fast as possible pretty much at all times.  This is generally because traffic can slow them down too much and I’ve been told that if drivers are late they get fined or something.  Buses will at times do a ‘rolling stop’ for you to get on . . . and conversely they may not completely stop while you are trying to get off–oh, and sometimes they don’t stop at all and you have to yell (there may be so many people on the bus that they are unusure if you want to get off, for example).  Be forewarned that hard breaking will happen, swerving into the oncoming traffic lane to get around any cars that are slowed/stopped, and other kinds of driving that in North America would get the driver a pink slip, a major traffic violation fine/s, etc.

Qian Yun Hu- Chinese Villager Dies in Dispute- Warning Graphic Photo

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 11, 2011

I wrote this post  a while ago. It is about a villager in China called Qian Yun Hu, the following was what I wrote. But the odd thing is that when moving some of my content to my new site here, I noticed that if you yahoo image search for this guy, the results are 0! The images are gory and apparently the chicoms have convinced yahoo to remove them. Sounds like the memory hole to me.

old post

The story is that the guy below represented one company who was supposed to excavate the area. Another company said that they were in fact supposed to excavate the site and the deceased man below attempted to stop them. The guy allegedly stood in front of a large earth moving machine and was flattened. Allegedly one of the members of the other team did the deed as he was not about to let this 78 year old man tell him what to do.
The results are pretty sickening. The guy below, may he rest in peace, was flattened and died.
The local police called the event a ‘homicide’- chalk up that excellent piece of police work, and a man was apprehended.
My questions are how does a man allow this to happen to himself, and where were his teammates, I assume this whole process of running him over took longer than a few seconds so why wasn’t he rescued? In addition, did his team then get the business, to me it only seems fair.

wiki of the incident

fyi yahoo in China has no results for this man’s name nor the incident but Google does. Yahoo sucks
