Vietnamese Protest Over China’s Actions

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 12, 2011

For the second week in a row, Vietnamese have protested in front of the Chinese embassy in Hanoi, Chinese news reports have said. The problem stems from the row over Vietnam, China and the disputed S. China sea.

Creepy Bus Dating in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 12, 2011

Chinese culture is odd. They have about 20-30 million spare men and the women are not used to things like dating. Typically, over the past 50 years, a guy would meet a woman on the farm where they were both sent to reeducation through labor and then he’d beat her over the head with a long stick….oh wait that was the cavemen wasn’t it? So the typical Chinese guy didnt club the woman, but from what my friends here have told me, love in chinese marriage is akin to quality in Chinese products, it is next to non-existent.
So nowadays the Chinese have evolved and are doing something called blind dating…
A service was set up whereby the Chinese board a bus,,,, yeah a freaking bus which is decorated like a limo or something and they are toted around china as they mix and mingle
my two cents
1-wtf?
2-WTF?
3- a bus? Are you shtting me? How would you like to have your dad tell you about the romantic day he met your mom while he was sweating like a swine herder in the back of a gray hound while 60 other hard up chinese guys vied for her attention
4-wtf
from my site here. I lost the link to the chinadaily but go there and you will find the original.

Pointless Rant in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 12, 2011

I’m tired as heck but am feeling this post so will write it. It will take a million turns and in the end it may suck so be forewarned. Here goes.

The other day I compared Bing to google searches and found that bing sucks and limits your results when you type potentially damnig things about China. The result is that I now like google more than ever. So then in my ADD mind, I thought of Google whacking which is some google game where you type in two words and try to get only like 1 or 2 google responses and then in my ADD mind I thought of a magazine I read called Boys life, when I was a boy . For you foreigners it is a magazine geared towards this thing called Boy Scouts which is where a ton of little boys dress up in these emasculating outfits with scarves and are shepherded around by grown men who feel entirely too comfy in the presence of young folk. . This one article said that a guy hated a radio commentator who always fouled up, the guy said that a pitchers rubber is 61 feet from home plate (for all you foreigners, that is wrong and baseball is truly one of America’s most macho sports but I shall not waste my time on that now). So the point is the guy was upset with the announcer and he tried to call the man’s radio show and  sneak in the word ‘hairpie’ on the guy. Now again for you foreigners a ‘hair’pe’ is a woman’s bush. So this guy calls the radio and tries his hardest and fails. So in my ADD mind, what I am trying to do with bing and the other search engines is similar. I try to sneak in seemingly innocuous words ie. communism and dirty and thief, just to see what happens.

So then I took a shower and thought of this post and now have wasted so much energy that I dont feel the need to google hack or do the search term things, but I must.

I searched china communist loser kids escape foreign country and bing gave me 50k and google 200k hits

I searched se communist leaders corrupt billionaires evil and bing served up 21,000 results yet google shot me 2030,000

Hmm I guess google is a more robust search engine. But in reality, this thing sounded a lot better in my mind then it looks in print.  (also posted here)

Pollution in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 12, 2011

According to Greenpeace China’s Ailun Yang, over half the rivers, one third of all lakes, and 80-90% of the groundwater are polluted in China. 16 of the 20 of the world’s most polluted cities are in China. How they react and solve their enormous pollution problem will have a huge impact on the world and on our nation. Linfen is a good city to watch.

More Shitty Chicom TV

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 12, 2011

I made a statement in the title that I actually have no proof of, so maybe I’m a n a-hole. But anyway, I took a shot of this CCTV or China communist propaganda channel to show you the drivel that your typical aspiring communist must witness each day. As you can see, the Chinese are geeked out on opium, and the show, no doubt, probably is blaming the evil foreign devil stating that had we not gotten them addicted to scag, that they would have invented things like Ipads and the ‘net much faster than we had. Yeah, this is Chinese TV..from here

Chinese and Marriage

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 12, 2011

I know two Chinese ladies who married older white guys. The first is not really married, as the guy has ED and thus could not consumate the marriage, but no one know this, so the child of the woman (by a previous marriage) is now an American citizen and living in the USA. The other is a wretch of a woman who ‘married’ an old American guy on his deathbed. The guy died and she tried to claim his estate but his family fought it and one. This is the kind of thing you see in China.

China Picking Fights in the South China Sea?

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 12, 2011

The Chinese claim to have had possession of areas of the South China sea that extend back farther than the formation of the PRC or China. In any event, the chicoms are pissed with everyone. They cut the cables of a Vietnamese trawler causing Vietnam to conduct a live fire exercise.
Then , China is getting pissy with the Philippines, see blurbs below.  For a country who has a crappy record in defending herself, I think China may want to re-examine her foreign policy. It does no good to alienate all 17 of one’s bordering neighbors.
thechinapost.com.tw
China warned Asian neighbors Thursday to stop searching for oil near the disputed Spratly Islands and vowed to assert its sovereignty over the potentially petroleum-rich territory in the South China Sea despite rival claims.”
“BEIJING — China stepped up criticism of the Philippines in a fresh exchange of invective over disputed waters, calling on Manila to stop infringing upon its sovereignty with irresponsible claims over the South China Sea.
“China demands that the Philippines stop unilateral actions that damage China’s sovereignty and interests at sea and could lead to the expansion and complication of the South China Sea dispute

Photo of China’s Scary Pollution

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 12, 2011

Take a look at the ‘sky’, it is nothing more than a gray cloud. This is the effect of China’s rise and continued lack of concern for the environment. Living here I usually get 3 to 4 sinuses infections per year, I am on a 9 day bout of one as we speak. The place is so polluted that walking around feels like you are sucking on a stogie. Its too bad, for when there are blue sky days here, it is magnificent.

Brazilians Say Chinese Companies Suck

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 12, 2011

Brazil and Brazilians rock. The women are incredible, the beaches pure and they love their dogs, I think even moreso than those inhabiting the land never ending innovation-USA. The sad thing is that Brazilians get the shaft. Their country has tons of natural resources, samba and the happiest people on the planet. But when foreign companies go there, they may not treat Brazilians as well as they should While I was there I noticed this, even with US companies. But even as bad as we may be, we are light years ahead of the Chinese and now the Chinese are there fouling things up like they usually do..
Wiith a lack of cutlural sensitivity, a general ignorance of how to deal with humans and lack of etiquettte, Chinese firms cannot keep Brazilian talent (hell they cant even keep Chinese workers).

In a survey of 500 Brazilian executives working for Chinese, N. American and European companies, conducted by M. Page International Recruitment from , newspaper Folha de S. Paulo found, explained that ” 42 percent of Brazilian executives working for Chinese companies left their jobs within a year, a 68 percent higher turnover rate than found in the other firms studied.”
WTF? The Brazilians who are the nicest people on the planet find the Chinese bosses so arrogant and inflexible that almost half leave within one year?
Actually I am not surprised, I live with the Chinese.
