Ai Wei Wei Released from Chinese Prison- Remains Mum

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 23, 2011

China’s famous artist Ai Wei Wei was released after three months but has said that a condition of his release is that he say nothing. Supposedly he is on some sort of probation for up to one year which means that at any time he can be thrown back into Chinese dungeons and receive a similar treatment to that which he experienced over the past three months. A while back he was allegedly  beaten so severely in a Chinese prison that he had to have surgery on his skull, lets hope that did not happen again.

You know the really wacky thing is Ai Wei Wei is an Emmanuel Goldstine like figure, yet his eyes resemble “Big Brother’s” in 1984 movie.
