UFO’s, Unpaid Wages, and Arrested Biden Fans in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 21, 2011

Chongqing China had to divert a few flights due to Alien sightings the other day. (story)

Shanghai carnival workers are pissed at the ‘bosses’ that lord over them. The reason is that the Chinese who run the place have not paid them the miserable U$1.7 per hour they are due. My only question is how little money the affluent would really have if they paid taxes, and workers and things that civilized people do….(story)

Sichuan locals were stopped from visiting Biden and his speech there. The reason is that these people allegedly wanted to discuss hu.man rights issues but of course they couldn’t do so. (story)

Vietnamese Women Go MIssing in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 21, 2011

Hunan China has tons of people, most of them have a member, after all, this is China. So with this overabundance of males the locals have to pilfer women from abroad. What many of them do is to go to Vietnam and illegally purchase brides from Vietnam. Side note, what a miserable life to wake up in the arms of some hunan farmer who learned love from the lineage of locals who believe that stuffing baby girls into a well is a good idea for it’s one less mouth to feed. But I digress.
So these farmer guys put together about U$1000 and hire a coyote to cross the border and bring them a bride. But now in Hunan someone is stealing their women. Supposedly hundreds of the women have gone missing. I guess it’s all just one more sign of the excellent effect of the rise of China…..story here

Bitch Slaps and Basketball

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 21, 2011

Georgetown came to China to hoop it up. Because G-town is from the states and the Chinese are not, g-town was kicking ass, even as the refs did their best to sway the flow of the game.
Before the contest ended, however the Chinese, in true ‘red guard’ form, got pissed and went Jackie Chan on the Americans.
If the pic is any indication of what happened, the Chinese put a monkey stomping on their guests from across the sea…..

China Pirating Russian Jet Designs?

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 21, 2011

China is in possession of some new fighter aircraft- its all part of their ‘harmonious rise’. The problem is that their jets look remarkably similar to those of their age old comrades in communist arms, the Russians. Story here.
The funny thing is that the Chinese are either receiving some help from the Russians, hacking into the Russian systems or merely damn lucky to make such carbon copies.
My question is this? WTF will the Chinese start to design things on their own? Those in the west who have never had the misfortune of living here have no idea as to the depths of the ‘copy gene’ that these people posses. While its popular for the talking heads to tout China’s innovation and rise, my question is where is its proof?
And even more frustrating is the fact that many of those who come from civilized places have also bought into the BS about China being innovative. This type stands there in their Mao suits proclaiming all the good of this place. Again I ask where it is they are looking for I cannot see it….
