Duct Tape, Bondo and Pirated Schematics- Chinese Military Drone Crashes and Burns

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 26, 2011

The Chinese have the pirate gene in spades but are light on the creativity and make cool things dna. They do, however, have an unmanned military drone that looks like something you’d buy at a K B stores. The thing is anemic but as the name states, it has no pilot on board. Sadly for China one of the pieces of shit just crashed and burned in the hinterlands of China.
The sad thing for the chicoms is that they have a history of military planes failing at that one crucial element in order to honorably wear the name of plane, they find it cumbersome to stay aloft for protracted periods of time, especially their warbirds – see here. I guess the Vietnamese and Phillipinos should be happy but then again if they really ever feared any munitions or weaponry made here, they deserve what they get.
Maybe next time the Chinese will do a better job when stealing blue prints ….

Electric Vehicles and China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 26, 2011

Chinese spin around on these e-bikes like over sized and deadly bees. I guess centuries of pedaling has worn our their collective knees, or maybe they are merely lazy so they like to blitz along on e-bikes. According to research by Pike, more than 466 million e bikes, motorcycles and scooters will be sold world wide with China representing 95% of that number.
The breakdown is
bikes 56%
motorcycles 43%
scooters 1%

China Observations

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 26, 2011

Is it just me:
– or do Chinese men pull their pants up to their man-tits looking like mommy dressed them
– do all Chinese yap on their cell phones while taking a shit?
– when they walk does it look like they are marching?
– do all the women hobble along in high heels as if they’d just gotten their feet unbound?
– do they stuff their cigs into their mouths while sprinting to the ‘smoking area’
– smoke in elevators?
– emotionally mature at a rate 1/10th to the remainder of humanity?
– do all of the ‘new apartments’ leak?

China’s Ministry of Culture Bans Songs From Lady Gaga

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 26, 2011

Here is the excerpt from Reuters:
“BEIJING (AP) — China’s Ministry of Culture has ordered music download sites to delete songs by Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, the Backstreet Boys and other pop stars within two weeks or face punishment.
The ministry posted a list of 100 songs — including Lady Gaga’s “Judas” and Perry’s “Last Friday Night” — that had to be purged from the Chinese web because they had never been submitted for mandatory government screening.”

What I find ‘blowing coke through your nose funny’
1- china has a ministry of culture? wtf? I suppose this must be the group charged with upholding the cultural integrity of a country filled with people who find shitting in the streets no less uncouth then shaking hands. And this same group of ‘civilized beings’ when not preoccupied liberating tiny nuggets of gold from their noses find it nothing less than acceptable to waltz around in pajamas, or ensconced, ninja style in some body wrap all in order to avoid mr sunshine. Culture indeed!
2-ordering music download sites to ‘only’ remove Gaga et. al.? How about ordering these sites to remove all of the illegally downloadable songs not just those that can pervert the Chinaman’s sense of civility?
3-‘mandatory screening of songs’? I guess this means that the local c-coms forgot that at their last visit to the ‘whack shack’ (thanks mylaowai) that just before praising the glorious little fingers of #@*&^ better known by her English name ‘Amy’, the noise blaring in their poison oil fattened ears was nothing less than the infamous Lady GG. But of course to think that uncle c understood is to presume he had a smattering of English skill which for this place is nothing less than a great leap.

Reality of Flying in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 26, 2011

Here is an interesting comment from Gowron aka the King. He’s got a ton of good info about the center of the universe and all that is good and bad here.
from the King
“My pops once told me that the Shitzhen airport didn’t let his redirected flight land in Shenzhen, because, they were to fucking stupid to know where Canada was. So their circled low on fuel, sweaty inside, (ran out of water), had to shit, until finally they were able to land, They couldn’t get off the plane, because the PLA though they were a plane full of enemy soldiers or something, so the pilot asked for water and supplies while they rest up waiting for the fog to lift in Hong Kong. The Chinese asked for money to resupply water (remember it’s swimming pool man drowns in poo poo water quality water. What a way to go eeehhhhhhhwwww), They Chinese were further so cheap as to put the water pails (or huge containers), OUTSIDE the plane. Like what the fuck? Don’t they have a hose to attack like advanced countries have since the early 70s when Firehoses came out?). “
