Duct Tape, Bondo and Pirated Schematics- Chinese Military Drone Crashes and Burns

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 26, 2011

The Chinese have the pirate gene in spades but are light on the creativity and make cool things dna. They do, however, have an unmanned military drone that looks like something you’d buy at a K B stores. The thing is anemic but as the name states, it has no pilot on board. Sadly for China one of the pieces of shit just crashed and burned in the hinterlands of China.
The sad thing for the chicoms is that they have a history of military planes failing at that one crucial element in order to honorably wear the name of plane, they find it cumbersome to stay aloft for protracted periods of time, especially their warbirds – see here. I guess the Vietnamese and Phillipinos should be happy but then again if they really ever feared any munitions or weaponry made here, they deserve what they get.
Maybe next time the Chinese will do a better job when stealing blue prints ….

On a different topic, I found an interesting bit on the deplorable state of many of China’s dams.
