New Libya Pissed at China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 5, 2011

China may have learned a valuable lesson with Libya but probably not. China allegedly offered to sell arms to the Libyan dictators at the end of his demise, in violation of UN sanctions. Now that Libya knows the score about China, they are a little bit upset. But who could really be surprised by this, after all, China is known as the financier of thugs and thieves..

excerpt from here
“Tensions are growing between China and Libya’s new government after revelations that Chinese weapons manufacturers met recently with a delegation sent by Colonel Moammar Gadhafi, despite a UN resolution banning military assistance to his regime….Col. Gadhafi’s envoys arrived in Beijing on a regular Lufthansa flight that landed July 16; they were met by a Libyan military liaison officer – a senior general – who made reservations for the group at a Beijing hotel. Although the documents emphasize that the Chinese firms asked for confidentiality, there was no suggestion of keeping secrets from the Chinese government.
“The People’s Republic of China is a good friend of ours, and we previously imported several kinds of weapons, ammunition and equipment from them”

China Violates UN Sanctions by Offering Arms to Libya?

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 5, 2011

Our friend China says that they do not like to get involved n the politics of other countries. I guess that does not mean that they will sell them arms, of course.

from here
China offered huge stockpiles of weapons to Libyan despot Muammar Gaddafi last month, during the final stages of his regime’s hold on power, according to The Globe and Mail, Canada’s largest national newspaper.

The documents suggest that Beijing and other governments may have played a double game in Libya’s civil war: while claiming neutrality, they covertly offered assistance to the dictator. The documents, however, do not confirm whether any military assistance was in fact delivered.
The document reports in detail a trip by Gaddafi’s security officials from Tripoli to Beijing. They arrived on July 16 and met with officials from three state-controlled weapons manufacturers in the days that followed. The Chinese thanked the Libyans for their discretion, emphasized the need for confidentiality, and recommended delivery via third parties

168 ‘Problems’ Reported in China’s High Speed Rail in July Alone

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 5, 2011

China’s high speed death line has been maligned for its huge budget, corruption, secret police force, expensive tickets and shitty food. But now they report that in July alone over 168 problems were reported. Where I come fro this is called cya or covering your ass. The idea is probably that by reporting every little flaw in the system the people reporting the infractions will not have the base of their skull kissed by the full metal jacketed projectile from a chinese made .45 caliber pistol as will their peers…

Fakers, Chinese Lead World in Playing Hookie…..

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 5, 2011

Many of the locals, in between snoozing after and before lunch, complain about how hard they work. To hear them tell it, China is like hell…
My question is this
If so many Chinese people are working so damn hard then wtf is their work product?

Think of it. they have at least 1,340,000,000 people. Lets say that 50% of them actually work. If we take .5 x 1.34 billion we get 670,000,000 people. Now if all of these people are working an honest 40 hour week then we see that each and every week China gives the world 26,800,000,000 man hours!

Yeah 26,8 billion hours of work. And if this is true then where the fuk is the output? Aside from shitty toys purchased from the dollar and ‘cancer oil’ what are they truly accomplishing? I mean if we look at the Swiss who only have around 7 million people and even if every man woman and child were to work they’d only put out 280 million man hours or about 1/100th of the Chinese do.

As we all know what the Swiss are capable of in terms of quality and value we’ve got to wonder just how the Chinese ‘workers’ spend their time.

Oh yeah the Chinese lead the world in playing hookie…..

88 Year Old Man Dies in the Streets in China Because No One Offered Help

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 5, 2011

This place is beyond crazy. Where other countries have a smattering of evil and some good. the locals seem to have almost none of the latter. I posted a few days ago that my friend rushed to help a Chinese guy who lay bleeding in the streets and no one helped him tend to the man, And it looks like he or someone like him should have been in Wuhan instead.
Wuhan is in Hubei province home of the next big disaster 3 gorges dam. In Wuhan an 88 year old man was returning from the store with a few bananas when he passed out and landed on his face breaking his nose. The poor man lay face down in a crowded street and people passed around him but no one offered assistance nor did they move him.
After 90 minutes his family was summoned and they took him to the hospital only to find that he’d died on the street, suffocated in his own blood.
Had anyone helped him, the man would still be alive. All it took was one of the hundreds who passed by to care enough to nudge him and he’d have kept breathing, but this is China.
Some idiots will claim that in China they cannot help others for they can be held liable if the man days but this is nothing more than a smokescreen. Authors from over one hundred years ago have described the same phenomenon here, this is just China. Maybe its the party or lack of religion, I am really not sure. But China has a dark smudge where their soul should be.

Sobering Facts on Chinese Piracy

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 5, 2011

China joined the WTO and signed up to protect intellectual property rights, among other things. To anyone who has visited this place, they can see how much of a farce that was. While the chicoms pledge to make changes, the reality is quite different. For instance, it has been alleged that in its IPR sweeps, the chicoms really use this as a ruse to confiscate articles that go against chicom doctrine but are hidden behind such a noble thing as IPR protection.

I an see how this allegation could be true. for on any given day it is easier to purchase an illegal DVD than a real one and the silk market which is only minutes from the center of Chinese law, is counterfeit goods central. Thus, its hard to take the chicoms seriously.

Read the following from here

“The International Intellectual Property Alliance, a U.S. coalition of film, software, music and publishing groups, estimates that U.S. companies lost more than $15 billion in 2009 due to international copyright theft.
About $14 billion of the total was due to software piracy, with an estimated $3.5 billion in losses in China. It’s gotten so bad that among China’s 457 million Internet users, 99 percent of all music downloads are illegal.
Want more proof? While China has the second largest market for computer sales, it ranks only eighth in software sales. It doesn’t take a technical genius to figure out that China is carrying out systematic piracy by illegally downloading software. Where does most software originate? The U.S. of course.
According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, China continues to be the number one source of counterfeit products seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, accounting for 61 percent of all seizures in 2010.

Oil Spill Pollutes China’s Qindao Beach?

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 5, 2011

In reality uncle chicom is not admitting if the black sludge on the beach in qindao is oil from the spill. If it is, then it’s poetic justice as Qindao is allegedly the place for corrupt ccoms and their skanky lovers to meet and waste resources and or live. Karma is a bitch….
