China’s Oil Spill Devastating

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 18, 2011

The chicoms are bitching about their oil spill in the Bohai bay. They seem to be blaming it on the foreigners , especially the environmental impact. The sad thing is that so much of China’s water is polluted so how could they really know who caused what? I’ve repeatedly blogged about how little of their water is potable and unfit for industrial use so in all honesty, what has changed. Probably what is happening is equal parts malfeasance on the part of the foreign firm and scapegoating by the chicoms.

story from here:
“The June oil spill in Bohai bay, involving oil rigs operated by US energy giant ConocoPhillips, is more serious than the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in April 2010, the Beijing-based Chinese Youth Daily quoted a Chinese expert as saying.

Over Half of All Banned and Dangerous Goods in Germany Made in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 18, 2011

This is shocking news…”Dortmund, Germany – A German government agency said Monday that just over half the dangerous toys, appliances and devices that were taken off the market or banned last year were Chinese-made.”
from here
I guess we can call this the effects of the rise of China or maybe ‘safety with Chinese characteristics’.

China Photo and History

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 18, 2011

Li Na was a one hit wonder. She is a stubby little Chinese woman who flashed her mandarin orange skin around the tennis court and won a major tournament. After he victory the world proclaimed that China would not only be the leader in pollution, corruption, crappy products, but sport as well. Since that victory, however, Li na has done nothing but suck.
The fortunate thing, however, is that her victory was on the day after third of June which is a bad day in China’s history. Now the Chinese can celebrate that day , however, as the date that the first major tourney was won by an Asian.

Interestingly enough he is a football fan and used to snap pics at games, the photo attached is his and you can go to his site to see more. The site is here. I will also be reblogging more of his posts later . Check out his site…

Fake China- 80% of All Chinese Honey is Fake and It’s Sold in America

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 18, 2011

China is known for knocking off everything from Ipods to human beings, so it should come as no surprise that food is something they love to fake. It has recently been reported that 80% of all Chinese honey is not honey at all, but a distilled form of sugar. The Chinese are so accustomed to telling untruths that the place has little to no credibility but we continue to pour in our money , after all what is a few toxins to our already bloated bodies? I commend the civilized world on their ability to forgive and forget China’s spurious ways and hope we continue to collaborate with them and shove their noxious goods onto our shelves.

After all, those ‘honest’ beekeepers who are suffering from the illegal importation of toxic Chinese honey don’t really need jobs do they?
quote from :here
“It’s getting difficult to trust the safety of anything coming out of China anymore, isn’t it? You’ve read on this site about a variety of products that were made in China … toys, pet food, milk and the like, all of which have been found to have been manufactured using products or chemicals that are just plain dangerous. It’s a long list and stretches back years before they started reporting about them here.

For most of those years beekeepers in the U.S. have been aware of problems with some of the Chinese honey that’s been imported into the U.S. And lately, beekeepers have known about Chinese transshipping, which is sending Chinese honey into the U.S. from a second, or even third country to avoid having anybody know it was originally from China. The Chinese exporters transship it through other countries to avoid paying tariffs and to reduce suspicion that it was contaminated with antibiotics, a problem common with Chinese honey.

Oh yeah, remember we import buttloads of Chinese honey…from here and here. So not only are the Chinese polluting themselves which may lead to all that stomach cancer they are dying of, but they are potentially killing us as well.

article about fake Chinese honey from here
“About 80% of the honey available in the Chinese market is fake and manufactured from cane sugar, according to Beijing Business Today.
The paper quoted Wang Guanqun, general manager of a food company in Henan, as saying the country produced 180,000 tons of honey a year, of which 82,000 tons were exported. He said there was no record of any imports of honey.”

China Fakes Rolls Royce’s

Posted by w_thames_the_d on September 18, 2011

In her need to capture the ‘estest in every category China is now known as the knockoff ‘estest. They fake more products than any other country in the world. Part of the problem is that they suck and cannot create things but also they have a crappy legal system which gets out of the way of their creative ‘indescretions’. The following is an excerpt about how China is knocking off Rolls Royce’s and the photos bear this out. This issue of piracy is a major impediment for the export of shitty chinese cars for they cannot sell such blatant knockoffs in civilized countries who have laws. In China, however, such details are a non sequitor.
excerpt from here:
“The 5.4 metre prototype, painted black and given pride of place on a raised plinth in the middle of Geely’s huge stand, makes obvious reference to the Rolls in the shape of its cabin, windows and down-sloping rear deck.
However, its nose, beneath which is mounted a 3.5 litre V6, is considerably shorter than the Rolls’s.”
