China Elects First Independent Candidate Then Jails Him….

A Chinese guy named Guo Huojia is a Chinese activist who was the first independent ‘elected’ to China’s National People’s Congress, The problem is that after he was fairly elected and beat out the guy the communists put in office, he was put under house arrest. WTF is China about?

Guo, who represented Nanhai district in the Guangdong city of Foshan, won a landslide victory over his Communist Party-nominated rival. Guo won by over 2000 votes in the Sept. 28 election for the local assembly under the National People’s Congress.
The 60-year-old activist, who was expected to take office after National Day on Oct. 1, was placed under house surveillance immediately after the election results were announced.

Scuzzy Chinese Seafood Imported to the USA?

Chinacrapwatch.com says that we in the land of milk and Oreos are in for a little extra treat with our seafood. Did you know that about 17% of all our imported seafood comes from the land of toxicity- China? Did you also know that they over-treat their water with anti-biotics but they need to for their water is polluted with muck and feces?
