I saw a funny comment on the ‘myth’ of China being the oldest continuing civilization from here.

“That is a false claim. Even Beijing changed its tune at the onset of the Olympics and said China was one of the oldest. China has 4000 years of recorded history in evidence. You have a scroll that says that the yellow emperor lived a thousand years before but no single bit of evidence exists to support that this man ever existed except on that scroll. Egypt has 5000 years of evidence and continuous inhabitation and so does India. Iraq has in its national museum objects, writing on tablets, etc dating more than 10,000 years in a continuously inhabited place. Some people even think it’s the Garden of Eden. Enough with your claptrap. It’s so tedious and boring now. Not even your government says this refutable BS anymore. You foolishly use this as an argument to what end? Grow up.”
