Pollution Watch in China

The sky is now officially ‘ominous’. According to the pollution gauge Beijing is looking at a rating of 385 which translates to “start up a garaged ’57 pick up, seal the windows then stuff your lips around its exhaust pipe and suck” type atmosphere.

I ventured into the caustic filth that doubles as air and gamely wiped its remnants from my clothes upon re entering my building. Its as dark as midnight out there and I truly do not know how much this place can take. it will never cease to amaze me that oxygen, a colorless odorless gas can taste so putrid and distort ones vision so much….
