Video From China Shows Why They Will Not Rule the World

Posted by w_thames_the_d on October 15, 2011

check out the vid. Its boring until 3 minutes in for before that the guy just bangs at the window. Then the ladies scream and act stupid then the cops come and they are equally worthless and let the guy get away. Pretty funny in the end.

No Moral Compass, a Problem With China Today

Posted by w_thames_the_d on October 15, 2011

China has many challenges, both environmental and political. Another issue they have is the gaping hole in the place where morality should be. The Chinese have transplanted money worship for anything resembling a higher power and its impact is quite obvious.
One of the ways in which this manifests itself is that the Chinese will unceasingly compare themselves to one another. They always want to see who has a more expensive Iphone or house or car. Now before you say that Joe Bob Dingeir from Muscatine does the same thing, I ‘d remind you to remain mute for yes that may be true but everything is relative. And relatively speaking, the Chinese are the most catty/disengenuous people vz their attempting to better one another in all things possible.
To me its not as big of an issue as I am a foreigner so the chinese cannot and do not attempt to compare.

Another Day Another Oil Spill in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on October 15, 2011

China should stay away from producing things like : engines, fireworks, appliances, nuclear facilities, milk, vegetables, basically anything that has an impact on our lives. As proof of this assertion, it has been reported that China has another oil spill. As the company responsible is an SOE or run by the communists, we will never truly know how horrible it is.
The Chinese need a baby sitter.

China Has No Homosexuals

Posted by w_thames_the_d on October 15, 2011

I have guests over and they bemoaned the plight of the US. Too much freedom, unsafe, occupy Wall Street and we carry guns. I was then told that China does not have homosexuals.

I was like……wtf?

The lady, in her 50s assured me that China does not have gays.

I have my doubts. I think that if people are born gay, as I believe they are, then the percentage of people here who are homosexual should be the same as anywhere else. The lady told me I am wrong.

80-90% of “French Wine” in China is Fake

Posted by w_thames_the_d on October 15, 2011

Chinese have the ‘copy gene’ down. To them a business model means nothing less than swiping an idea or story or plan from someone then taking it and making it Chinese, ie fouling it up. They will then reproduce the thing in typical Chinese fashion leaving it to be a shell of its former self.
This is true in everything from batteries to zebras, all of which can and will be faked here. One Chinese guy who is pretty much typical, has taken to bringing French wine to China but on their journey, he China’izes them- read as fouls them up. He allegedly re-labels them as a more expensive wine then sells them to the locals.
As badly as I feel about this, if he is selling to the party members who are as crooked as a Fallopian tube then I herald his actions but insofar as the small guy is hurt, I cannot condone it.

I am so glad China is my plan ‘B’.
