China is Full of Shit- Waste Sludge Piling up in Beijing

China has declared war on its minorities, its land and the ecology. In this excerpt, we see the latter.
“Massive sewage sludge from waste water treatment plants is creating huge mounds of waste containing heavy metal and other toxic substances underground as China faces a shortage of capital for sludge treatment, the 21st Century Business Herald reports.
“About 80% of sludge has not been treated and is only transported to or piled up in remote areas,” said Chang Miao, director of the Institute of Environmental Management and Policy at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
“This untreated waste contains large amounts of toxic or hazardous substances and could cause pollution by seeping into the soil and water supply,” Chang added.”

My place stunk of toluene for months. Those people have no concept of responsibility.

True to good ‘ol Chinese fashion, I’ve heard filters in sewage plants in many cases aren’t changed.
