China’s Purchase of Japanese Land a Threat to National Security

The Japanese are selling land to China?

“Chinese businesspeople are now considered a major threat to Japan’s national security through purchasing property in the country, reports Duowei News, an outlet operated by overseas Chinese.
Apartments on the island of Ishigaki, which is only 170 kilometers from the disputed Senkaku or Diaoyu islands in the East China Sea are now being purchased by estate agents from China. From those tall buildings surrounding Ishigaki port, the movements of Japan’s coast guard vessels can be easily observed, according to an article published by the Japanese weekly Shukan Post on Jun. 18.”
