Chinas Peaceful Rise Does Not Include Tibet

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 21, 2012

China is all about peace and harmony, until it comes to governing the people of Tibet and Xinjiang. For those areas, it’s brutality and pain.
The problem is that communists do not want anyone to have independent thought, they control all. For most of the Chinese , who are more sheep than human, this is fine. They are happy enough to while away their days hawking pens, fake DVDs and those idiotic wide brimmed hats all day long. Ideas like God and independence are as foreign to them as notions of hygiene and civility.
The Chicoms have fomented this through thought police and other measures.
In. Tibet, however, uncle red has done more. He has brutalized the Tibetans to such an extent that they have taken to setting themselves on fire. This has been done to call attention to their plight. The world, of course, is more worried about making a buck and so they turn a blind eye to the abuse of Tibetans. The Chinese too, could not care less about this group of about four million. They would prefer to see the Tibetans wear funny costumes and sell cheesy jewelry at roadside cafes.

The New York-based NGO Human Rights Watch said Wednesday that hundreds of Tibetans in Lhasa were arbitrarily expelled from the capital of the Tibet autonomous region by local authorities, a move aimed at enhancing security.

The move appears to be taken in response to an incident on May 27 this year, in which two Tibetan protesters from eastern Tibet set themselves on fire in front of Lhasa’s famous Jokhang temple, according to a report published by Human Rights Watch the same day.

Apple Self-Censoring in China?

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 21, 2012

China, in an attempt at creating an alternate reality known as history ‘with Chinese characteristics’, has apparently gotten to Apple.

excerpt from here:
“Apple announced in early June that it will launch Mandarin and Cantonese language versions of its Siri voice assistant, first launched on the iPhone 4S, to cater to the Chinese market. However, some website experts recently tested the new version only to find that the system will pretend not to understand questions involving such as politically sensitive terms as “Tiananmen Square” and “6-4″ (June 4, the date of the army’s crackdown on the student protesters in 1989).
As it will even not answer questions about how to get to the massive square in the center of Beijing, they suspect Siri is employing self-censorship to enter the Chinese market, according to Duowei News, a Chinese-language media outlet based in New York run by overseas Chinese.”

What this means is that the chicoms not only do not want to come to grips with the massacre, I mean the noble Chinese military’s actions against a wayward group of separatists, on that fateful day in 1989. The sad thing is that with China’s rise, propogation of such lies continues and worse yet are encouraged.

This is the reality of the rise of China.

Shitty Chines Buildings, Immigrants and Blocking Japan

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 21, 2012

BrewMan,a pitbull on china has uncovered some goodies. The Chinese building he references is a Chinese mobile home that will stick up 800 meters above the big stinky. As for the comment about china costing more than the USA, I had see this but have my doubts. Here are prices in Beijing.
All prices in dollars
Decent 100 meter place 1000us
Decent meal 8 to 15
Electricity super cheap, maybe 15 a month
Forty minute taxi fare 7
16 liters of bottled water 3
Can coke .5
Snickers .5
English movie 14
Foot massage 6 for 50 mins
Body massage 8 for 50 mins
Subway .3
Housecleaner 3 per hour
Apples .5 for decent sized one

Now for the Banging BrewMan

Is it the world’s largest double-wide trailer, or a super-size replica of the Soviet’s failed N1 Lunar rocket? You decide. Me, personally, I think the top of the building should be retrofitted with a replica of the Titanic’s bow, complete with bolted deck chairs with mannequin musicians dressed in early 20th century attire; hidden speakers would soothe Frédéric Chopin’s Funeral March. A site fit for a King before he ventures out to Canada’s frozen wilderness.

Here’s a run down of Chinese highlights for today:

A lot of CCP pirates must be scrambling to the US to bury their booty: Asians have surpassed Latinos as America’s largest immigration group:

China already can block out the sun, now she can blog out a whole country: Japanese domains on the web blocked out for two days last week.

You need to validate this one, but according to a Mercer Survey, second-tier cities and above make China’s cost of living higher than the US’s.

Whoopsss! A coal mine owned by Mongolia’s South Gobi Resources only has a quarter of the coal originally estimated.

Not only is China’s new meat factory bigger, badder and contains more meat-pulverizing elevators than Burj Khalifa, but Sky City will be seven times cheaper, too. Ahh… the plot thickens for the Next Mission Impossible: Tom’s trapped in a Venus Flytrap elevator, he plunges with it to his doom, he has mere seconds to slip out his Batman grappling hook before he risk’s Shayna Richardson (a young woman who survived a parachute failure with fetus in tote!).

Underachieving CCP flunkies weed out 15,000 cases of substandard food:

Chinese Father Sues in “Toss Off of Death”

Posted by w_thames_the_d on June 21, 2012

Some Chinese waste of time and space is suing a sperm bank over the death of his son. His son, who was studying to be worthless, I mean to be a ‘Chinese doctor’- whatever that term means in this jungle, passed away the other day.

The progeny of dud #1 aka- the father, went to a sperm bank under the auspices of ‘donating sperm’, which ostensibly means he wanted to ‘justify his jack-off habit’.

Anyway, the sone goes to the sperm hole, tosses one off and passes on to the land of deceased Chinese.

Dud #1 is pissed for he knows that the commies have spent all of their cash on ‘face projects’ and have sent cash with their mistresses and dud kids to lands of civilization. As such, dud #2 knows he has no retirement and now that his kid has passed on, dud #1 will live a life of begging in the streets or worse.
Another day in China
“A father from central China’s Hubei province is suing a sperm bank over the death of his son, who died in the process of donating semen on Feb. 12, reports the Chutian Dushi Bao, a Chinese-language newspaper in the provincial capital Wuhan.”
