Great Comments on China

These come from the Wall Street Journal Real Time Report

The sport organization in China, as in other communist countries, is not more othan a extremly costly gladiator-slave grooming organization, which collapses immediately after the political system collapses. The most glaring exanple was EAST Germany, whih was the 2nd or 3rd world power in sports and now is only a shadow .

At least, the Roman gladiators organization worked with adults, not children

It is outrageous how the WEST, so vocal regarding human rights, treats so cavalierly this outrage, which damages the life of their known athltes and many time more, other which do not resist the training.
The visible exaple of the 110m hurdler, who continues to perform with an already non-reversible foot injury, is typical.
Of course, the Government argues that the families of the athletes agree with all. Even when such is true, it is due that it means for these a switch from a miserable to a comfortabl life..

By the way, of the 38 China’s golden medals, more than 10 were in “sports” as Badmington and Ping Pong which have nothing to do in Olympics, much less with so many medals. Without these, China had less Gold as Great Britain, with only 4.5% of population.

Well, I suppose if the Communist National Sports Program had resulted in more Gold Medals or had even surpassed the ‘overall Medals’ count at the 2012 London Games, there would be no discussions regarding the lack of ‘Socialist superiority’ in their National Sports programs!

What I saw was the Chinese Badminton pair make a mockery of the sport in scandal, Ye swim faster ‘split time’ than the men for their event and will be forever tainted because of China’s past State-Sponsorship of ‘ROIDS’ in the 1980s and 1990s, a Chinese diver was never told by her coaches that her Grandparents had died and that her own mother was dying of cancer because they didn’t want her to lose Gold Medal from this distraction, a Chinese weightlifter isn’t recognized by his own father on TV because the National Sports Program ‘snached’ his kid away at a young age and the father never saw him in 6.5 years, the female weightlifter that was called a ‘National Disgrace’ to China for failing to lift the bars ‘three’ times by CCP controlled media, a pair of Chinese cyclists was DQ’d for violation on the track and crying that they was robbed of the Gold Medal, and of course, the Chinese weightlifter who didn’t win the Gold Medal apoligising for being a failure to the Chinese people after winning the Silver Medal!

Clearly, the National Sports needs to ask if ‘whisking’ away kids from their parents at 3 to 6 years of age, and where the parents don’t even see their kids again until the Olympics is really worth it!

But instead, many citizens are only asking if it was worth it because the CCP haul in Gold Medals and overall Medals came up short?

Here lies the real problem in China’s Sports Programs! The total lack of ‘moral and ethical’ questions behind why the CCP has to win Gold Medals at-all-costs for the children and families sacrifices…………………………………………………………….because the CCP can’t compete with the international community in anything but in sports!

China’s “not So Great’ Wall is Collapsing

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 13, 2012

China is known for building a lot of stuff, most of which is junk. The great wall, or ‘long wall’ as it is known in China, is one example. It took the Chinese two thousand years and the lives of tens of millions and in the end, it is just another piece of Chinese trash.

The excerpt below speaks to the fact that a little rain washed away a section of that wall. And remember, this is a ‘rebuilt’ ‘rebuilt’ section of that wall, in other words not the original.

How is it that the Egyptians finished their great works of architecture over 4500 years before China finished theirs, and they are still standing?

Excerpt
Repair work is underway on a section of the Great Wall of China in the northern province of Hebei that collapsed after days of continuous rain, local officials said Thursday.
The collapse occurred Monday, when strong currents of water from the mountains crushed the Dajingmen section of the Great Wall in Zhangjiakou following days of continuous rain, an official with the city’s Qiaoxi district said.

Herpes Hotels, Terror Trains and Other China News

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 13, 2012

Big BrewMan, the monster of the midway, has been digging through all the news that is fit to be consumed about China. Here is part of his latest findings…

From the King of Brews:

Jay Leno once relayed, “If God meant us to vote, he’d given us candidates.” Who to choose, who to choose: Captain Crap Out the Capitulator, a proven wimp who willingly bends over backwards, ass wide open with begging hands to match it, to take another rumpus for “hope & change,” or “Big Biz Bain” Romney with uber-Ayn Rand acolyte – Paul Ryan, who salivates swamps of frothy saliva over military budget increases, even while he kicks gramps & grammy off Medicare. Decision 2012: two big, fresh piles of turds; choose carefully…!
Let’s get distracted by turning to our favorite target, chicanery China.
China’s rails get better & better: 12 lines are reported to have major safety issues. (If that’s reported, how bad are the rail really?)

Further proof of impending slow down: dragging car sales.

Given I know lots of shoddy construction workmanship, it’s no surprise businessmen are advised to stay at only the newest hotels, but this sets a new low: an entire family contracts, including a three-year-old boy, a STD during a Shanghai hotel stay.

Optimistic China bulls: what about your predictions for a strengthening RMB? In response to a slacking economy, China may WEAKEN their currency. Just what we need with drought killing global crops!

Where’s the 2nd half rebound the oracles of Wall Street foretasted? Kudos to sclerotic Europe and slowing US, China’s trade surplus expected to slim in August.

Chinese Communists Banging Hookers in Lujiang

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 13, 2012

From thechinadigitaltimes.com
The pics are of some communist officials who got photographed with some hookers. The chicoms want the news taken down from the net.
So please do not forward this info to anyone….

From the chinadigitaltimes.com

The following example of censorship instructions, issued to the media and/or Internet companies by various central (and sometimes local) government authorities, have been leaked and distributed online. Chinese journalists and bloggers often refer to those instructions as “Directives from the Ministry of Truth.” CDT has collected the selections we translate here from a variety of sources and has checked them against official Chinese media reports to confirm their implementation.

State Council Information Office: All websites must stop following and hyping the so-called “Lujiang Indecent Photos Incident.” Interactive platforms must quickly remove all related photos.

国新办:所有网站不再跟进炒作所谓庐江不雅照事件,互动环节需迅速删除有关照片。

Port-a-Potty in China- Public Defecation

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 13, 2012

China did not invent toilets, after all, they still just crap in a hole in the ground in most places. As such, the Chinese feel that public defecation and urination are ok. I guess I can see their point. In a land so fouled by waste, whats one more ‘stinky log’ added to the pile.
Here is a shot of a lady helping her kid change clothes after taking crap on the sidewalk in Beijing.

Corrupt Communists, Torturing Teachers and Shitty Chinese Construction

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 13, 2012

Here are some good stories about the brutal reality of China.
From the King of Brews….

“You know what? I’m in the mood for seconds!
The real “free market China” Jim Rogers needs to visit: Shenyang’s small businesses, particularly those without government connections, have closed shop to avoid “rent seeking” cops’ firing off fines.

“Help! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!” Chinese bystanders group around fallen elderly individual, and gawk like lazy tribesman in the middle of a hot day.

Tiger mom/wolf dad parenting goes vogue: Chinese kindergarten teacher order 29 kids to punch a six-year-old girl 10 times each for talking during class.

And what’s China without some fine infrastructure fails?
A bridge collapse…
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/9422591/Dramatic-rescue-operation-in-China-after-bridge-collapses.html
With slack weight restriction, China’s overloaded trucks should beat China’s bad bridges and ruinous roads to bits in no time like this guy: driver hauling 110 tones gets fined $25 million for causing bridge collapse.

The floods have exposed flaws in Beijing’s sewage system.
