Understanding China, One Blog at a Time

An American in China

Comrade Peng Liyuan, China’s First She-com

Posted by w_thames_the_d on July 16, 2013

Here is a pic of comrade Peng Liyuan, the woman who is married to China’s reigning dictator. Peng is called classy and elegant by Chinese, but few others. The reason is that Peng was a puff girl for the military.

Even though she is called a Chinese ‘folksinger’, she is little more than a female member of China’s red army. Her ‘folks songs’ include ‘The washing song’ which I have posted earlier and literally says ,’who is going to teach the Tibetans to wash their clothes? The valiant communist party! Who is going to build the roads in Tibet? Their red army brothers and sisters!’ . I am not kidding, google it and see.

In any event, comrade Peng divorced at a time in China’s history when such a thing required communist party approval. In order tor a guy to divorce his wife, the woman had to be very very loose-remember that in China the man keeps the kids when they divorce and the man is favored in every aspect. Thus, for comrade Peng to get dumped, she had to be a pretty loose woman.

Anyho, this is a pic of communist China’s first she-comrade, the same woman who sang for the bloody handed soldiers in Tienanmen in 1989.
