Marry a Chinese Never Work in China Again

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 12, 2013

A guy I know is a masochist, I mean he married a Chinese woman. Never mind his deficiencies in doing so, but pay attention to the story. The guy lives the woman, who seems pretty cool. Unfortunately for them both, China hates foreigners.

What happened was that the woman gave up her job which required much travel so that she could spend more time with the guy. They had a place in Beijing and she got a job with a Chinese firm. I guess the statement ‘got a job’ needs clarification. The woman was offered a job and accepted and went to start her new career. While there, she was told to fill out some personal forms before beginning her new job.

In the section marked married, she checked ‘yes’. She was then asked to supply the name of her spouse. She wrote the name of the American guy and then returned the paperwork. Minutes later she was fired. The management informed her that due to the fact that she had married an American, she was told she could not work for the company.

Of course this is China so she has no legal recourse and is now job-less. This is the true China.

Danish Politician Says All Chinese Should ‘Burn’

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 12, 2013

Some people really do not like people from China, here is one…Excerpt

“A Danish politician has sparked a furore after stating that he wished all Chinese people would “burn,” reports Huanqiu.com, the Chinese-language website of China’s nationalistic Global Times newspaper.

Fuat Yalan, a Social Democrat party member from the in the east Denmark city of Helsingor, made the remarks on Facebook in early August after seeing a YouTube video in which some Chinese villagers abused a little boy belonging to an ethnic minority.

“I hope that it will be 140 degrees and that all the Chinese will burn, so the world will be free of that Chinese filth,” Yalan wrote, before telling a local newspaper that “[i]f there was a Chinese person in front of me right now I would shoot him. I don’t care if I’m thrown out of the party, kicked out of Denmark or shot myself. I don’t care about politics and I stand by my words.

Yalan initially later tried to play down the remarks by explaining that his words were only meant for the abusers in the video. He also blamed the newspaper for printing his statement, saying that it was something uttered during a moment of emotional duress.

Under increasing public pressure, however, Yalan eventually apologized to all those he offended, calling himself a fool and admitting that he “crossed the line.”
