China Built the World’s Longest Failure

This is China’s great failure. It is a few thousand mile monstrosity which took 2000 years to complete and still did not work.

The ‘Long wall’ as it is known in Mandarin, was meant to keep out foreign invaders. Considering how often China was in the hands of those people, we see just what an abysmal failure this thing was.

Julia Lovell wrote a book chronicling the history of this failure and the bones and broken souls upon which it was built. Ancient emperors used slave labor to raise the walls and hundreds of thousands died on the job. The long fence is literally built on their bones.

If nothing else, the big fence shows us how Chinese can literally work thousands of years on a project and still not produce a quality result
