Rickshawing it to Work in China- Photo of My Commute

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 15, 2010

This is a few shots from one of the ‘black’ or illegal taxis that takes many of us to work. The drivers are semi skilled, or depending on how you like to look at it, highly skilled technicians who weave and bob the vehicles to their destinations….
This shot is looking out the front of the contraption.

Chicoms Declare Mothers to Blame in Latest Milk Scandal- All Chinese Babies Will Grow Breasts

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 15, 2010

The Chinese department of bullshit, or propaganda or something like that has declared that the latest milk scandal was untrue and that once again Chinese milk is safe. Or, well, not really safe as they still have thousands of tons of that toxic milk from the Olympics and then there is the case of three Chinese infants who now have breasts, but thats beside the point.
The government has assembled a task force that is beyond reproach, and they have tested Chinese milk and even bench marked it against US milk and have found it to be normal! Thus speaketh the Chicoms…
Hmmm pardon me for not being convinced, but the credibility crisis that has hit China over the last century has me somewhat jaded. I mean, we are talking about infants, like 12 months old, who have developed breasts and have hormone levels of grown women. And remember, in China, the typical women develops breasts when she is 22 , if at all, but to have infants doing so is alarming. But of course the government was all over it like Speedos on a fat man, and have assured the public that all is ok, and to drink milk and be happy. I predict that in two months we will hear that there was a problem with the milk, this is China’s modus operandi, so book mark this post.
(also in the name of full disclosure, I have developed man tits since coming to China, nothing over the top, just perky little buds hthat bounce when I run, I have since given up on jogging and milk, but the damned breasts have stayed. Actually, no shit, I thought I was so quit driking milk, I also heard that they give estrogen to chickens and that some time back a butt load of men got gyncomastia or bitch tits)

Research Shows Chinese Woman Unsatisfied with Their Sex Lives

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 15, 2010

Hmm, this is interesting, it would appear that Chinese women feel like they are not getting the loving that they need at home. I have heard other reports where it was said that Chinese men are poor at making love and actually need sex therapy, I guess this sort of corroborates that assertion.

“Research unveiled in the first-ever Beijing International Sex Supply Exhibition revealed that nearly 60% of Chinese women were unsatisfied with their sex lives. As covered in a Sunday Beijing Times report, sexual health problems and work pressure were cited as important causes of the dissatisfaction. Only 32% of women reported being “very satisfied” or “relatively satisfied” with their sexual lives. More than half reported rarely or never reaching sexual orgasm.

The research is the product of a 6-month joint project between the China Women and Children Development Center and the China Population Association and included over 26,000 respondents.

China is the Light the Sun the Stars- Historical Arrogance in China

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 15, 2010

China, in Chinese is called ‘the center country’ as they thought of themselves literally as the center of the universe (mighty precocious of them as we know in reality that this belongs to the US), and they envisioned themselves as such. In China, they said that they are the center, the enlightened, the ones to whom the heavens spoke and protected. They were taught that China was better educated and more knowledgeable than the rest of the world, and then blocked themselves off from us as they considered our knowledge to be of little value. Quite possiby ie, 4000 years ago, this may have been true, but the world caught up and has left them in the dust.
Over the past 500 years their paltry record of innovation is scandalous, the Chinese will blame the foreign barbarians, the Qin dynasty, their addiction to opium, anything to save face and point a finger. Much of this has to do with the fact that they historically and to a certain extent still believe the following: take a light and shine it upon a page, all that is covered with light is China or the center kingdom, all that is in darkness is the barbarians and the crude- or the rest of us. Severeal thousands of years ago they invented paper which, according to them allows them to rest on their laurels, for instance how could we have computers today had they never invented paper, or so their logic goes.
The notion of the light shining upon China is a strong one, which is deeply ingrained in their psyche. They are taught of the greatness of their past, but not usually their misdeeds, all of which leads them to have a twisted perception of their reality.
Here is an example of traditional Chinese law and its goal… “to preserve the order of heaven, maintain the dynasty, and keep the balance or harmony of nature.”….

Posted by w_thames_the_d on August 15, 2010

They have no distinguishable form of morality, at least as far as I can discern.
